questions
Where did you grow up? What was it like in Maltby? What was your childhood like? Your relationship with your parents? Your brother? When did you move to Monroe, and why? How did sports become so important to you? What were the benefits/drawbacks? I know a lot of people who loved high school, and others who hated it. What did you think? You’ve mentioned to me a few times that you grew up Christian, but kind of fell out of that lifestyle, especially during high school, then had some radical encounters with God and a 5-year sickness that really changed your life. Tell me about that. What was it like being a volunteer firefighter? What did you enjoy? What haunts you? How did you manage being a firefighter and working in sales at the same time? Where did your interest in martial arts come from? What stopped you from doing MMA fighting? What do you like about BJJ so much? How did you feel receiving your black belt? How did you and mom meet? What do you think about your experience as a dad? How did you balance work and life? Why did you go back to college? How did you balance that with taking care of Poppy? What are your passions? What are a few of your favorite memories from your life so far? Why are they your favorites? What are the most important lessons you’ve learned in your life? How did you learn them? Who would you say has most impacted your life, and why? Is there anything else I haven’t asked about that you’d like to share?
