My mother and I are extremely emotional, so there’s some crying here. We also like to talk for hours on end, so this is a little stretched out.

My mother spoke about her working life, favorite Mexican plates, and educational journey. Also, she spoke about my childhood (daughter and interviewer) and explained her parental advice for me.

I asked my mom questions about her life. She told me about her childhood, how she grew up, and her parents. She also told me about some of her thoughts and feelings.
