Summary of my dads childhood

This discussion was about the Civil War and some "what ifs" in many scenarios.

My family’s story of immigration from Norway in the late 1800s.

We talked about how my mother came to the U.S. She explained the challenges she had to face coming to a new county.

I talked to my father about his experiences living in a foreign country and serving for a foreign army. Talk to my father also about his experiences with immigration, his education, his childhood and his marriage.

He was happy to serve in the military and happy to be interviewed.

I interviewed my dad about our family heritage and it was very fun.
