This is my dads side of the family’s story how how they came to America and what happened.

Mrs. Matthews told me about her family’s cultural heritage including interesting stories about her ancestors. She also gave her perspective on immigration.

Me and my mother conducted an interview in our living room in Orange, Ca. The interview was conducted on April 30th, 2021. My mother and I’s interview mostly consisted of questions regarding her childhood, our ancestors, and her career.
