I interviewed Patricia Perdue for my First Year Seminar class at Marshall University. Our FYS class has been focusing on critic thinking and how thoughtfully developed and artfully asked questions can lead to enriching and enlightening stores, particularly oral stories. We have examined sample oral histories related to the two timely topics:pandemics and protests. Frank Sesno’s book Ask More has served as an inspiration, and each one of us has been with creating and using thoughtful questions related to our specific interview themes.
