Innisfree Village is a fully licensed, residential community with adults with intellectual disabilities. It was founded in 1971 and operates as a nonprofit, nonsectarian, therapeutic farm community located on 550 acres in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. They partnered with StoryCorps Studios during their 50th Anniversary Celebration to record stories that capture the unique life sharing model of Innisfree Village.
