Tim (T) shares that he and Alice (A) met when they were both in the middle of a restoration project. A says she was looking to move somewhere new and was considering Logan, Utah, where T lived.
A describes how her parents met. She says that the town she was born in no longer legally exists. She explains the meaning behind the town's name, Whitehaven.
A recounts her memories from living in St. Louis. She says he dad worked at various car plants and was a union organizer.
A details what HUAC (House Un-American Activities Committee) was and how it formed.
A says her father was subpoenaed by HUAC in April of 1956. She adds that her father was cited for contempt of Congress.
A says that due to the subpoena, her father's life changed forever. She says he could no longer find work in car plants because no one would hire him and that he could only find work in sales.
