Donna Keller (DK) and Alfred Gemrich (AG) recall originally meeting. He was DK's father's friend and DK remembers loving the visits her family took to AG's farm and home.
DK recalls taking her kids to AG's farm to see some grouse.
DK talks about how she and her dad first got involved with the Southwest Michigan Land Conservancy. She discusses her beliefs concerning the importance of land conservancy.
AG discusses his own beliefs concerning the importance of land conservancy. He views nature as a spiritual place.
AG says technology has allowed people to engineer their ways out of problems rather than adapting to them.
DK recalls a backpacking trip her daughter took where she met and befriended AG's granddaughter.
