Kennedy interviews her dad, Nick Roxborough, on January 5,2020 in Los Angeles California. “You couldn’t imagine two more different places than San Francisco and a little town called Arusha.”-Nick Roxborough. Nick Roxborough spent the first two years of his life in a small village in Tanganyika, now present day Tanzania. At the young age of two years old, him, his mother, and father, immigrated to San Francisco. He successfully u Der went the process of becoming an American citizen when he was 19 years old, and was fortunate enough not to encounter any anti-immigrant biases.
