Description

Fabric artist, teacher, mother of three, Ann Bromberg says her creativity and zest for life stem from her childhood in New York City. Their mother introduced Ann and her older sister as young children to the nearby Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Brooklyn Museum. “Not many people get a chance to play in an art museum, but we did.” Further education at Manhattan’s High School of Music and Art, Cornell and Cincinnati led to wider appreciation of her weaving and art in Rome, New York, Martha’s Vineyard and elsewhere. When she and her husband moved to Fearrington her looms and her boundless creativity came with her.
