In this interview, I interview my grandmother Betty Savage in Raleigh, North Carolina, on November 24, 2017. Betty reflects on her childhood, family, accomplishments, aspirations, hobbies, and lessons she's learned over the years. She discusses her grandmother, cousins, mother, father, brother, and more, along with their roles in her life. Betty talks about simpler times when explaining her experience growing up in the 50s, and she explains her choice of becoming an English teacher. She ends by summing up the biggest lessons she’s learned and shares her advice.
