Seasonal park rangers Megan Mcfarland (62) and Tony Esper (63) discuss what it's like to work at Mount Rushmore during the summer and winter months, talking about the behind-the-scenes of park maintenance as well as some of their favorite aspects of working there.

T retired early and became a volunteer assistant teacher for several years; T later moved to SD to live near his brothers and mom and worked for Rushmore for the last 5 years.
T describes how beautiful it is to drive through the Black Hills every morning to work; many people say they envy his job.
T shares some of his favorite stories of kids visiting the park.
T says the park staff are like family; all the staff helps clean the bathrooms, not just the custodians.
T's favorite part of working at Rushmore is talking to the many kidss visiting the park.
