Description

Richard Corbal tells us about his 10 years as an early childhood teacher at the Santa Cruz Waldorf School, how it is his job to protect the imaginative space and observe the child and their individual needs allowing them to unfold into themselves. He describes the sounds, sights and smells of the Waldorf kindergarten, some of the springtime activities they are currently doing in the classroom and what healthy play in the kindergarten looks like. He explains how through imaginative play, telling stories, practical work and collaborative play the child is nourished and a foundation for life is built.
