In this interview, George Wilbur Conner Jr. (53) is interviewed by his granddaughter Patience Leigh Foster (17). The interview was conducted on November 26, 2017 in Cherryville, North Carolina. George shares his stories about growing up with his mom and strict stepdad and how that influenced his decision to join the military. He shares his military experiences with traveling the world and the best memories of the people he served with. George shares his favorite book, best memory,favorite job, and many many more experiences and memories. At the end of the interview he shares what he is the most thankful for and how he would like to be remembered.
