Georgia Pearson says she was born in 1941 and was the youngest of ten children. She also talks about growing up on her father's farm near Starkville, Mississippi.
Georgia remembers waking up at 4 a.m. to milk the cows. She says the farm was 127 acres. She also talks about the other kinds of animals they raised.
Georgia talks about straining the cow's milk and getting it into milk cans. She says they sold the milk to the Borden Dairy Company.

Georgia says Black servicemen from a nearby Air Force Base began showing up at her dormitory to ask for her. Georgia says that while she was not interested, some of her white dormmates did accept dates. She says the housemother blamed her and that she didn't know what to do about it.
