Kiersten Coates (21) talks with her high school teacher, Jeremy Lenchert (45), and her friends, Kelly Lennon (21) and Jillian Leydon (21) about their experiences and opinions on how society and other external pressures impacts adolescents in regards to their relationship with food and self confidence. Topics discussed include Erikson's Psychosocial Theory on Identity vs. Confusion, pressure from within from parents, and the harmful effects of direct and indirect pressures. These factors may contribute to how adolescents' relationship with food, how they view themselves, and their ideas on what qualifies as being worthy.
