Summary: Betty Hampton has lived a very full life. In this interview, Nate Wiseman talks with her on December 29, 2019, in Solebury township about her happiest and proudest moments, as well as the experiences that shaped her life both positively and negatively. As a young child, her house in the south caught fire and, while there were no injuries, it caused a lot of difficulty throughout the family. Betty and her family were forced to move north. This event changed her life significantly as she met her husband, had 3 “wonderful” children, and grew old in New Jersey. She would most like to be remembered as kind and helpful, and she certainly will.Participants
