Interview with Ken Wise

Description

Ken and I talked about his time living in East Tennessee from hiking in the Smokies as a young boy to moving from Georgia to go to school at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville to working as a librarian and co-director of the Great Smoky Mountains Regional Project at UT Libraries. Ken spoke about he and his wife raising their family in Knoxville and his work with the Great Smoky Mountains Hiking Club as well as his research about the Smokies. We also considered Smoky mountain travel tourism and stereotypes.
