In this interview, on November 2017 in Wylie, Texas, Cristine Ma interviews her cousin John. He shares his thoughts on life, a bit of his beliefs, and family. John shares intimate details of his grandpa, from living a beautiful life in Vietnam, to escaping communism and its perils. He also goes on detailing his childhood and how he had to go through academy school, and running a mile as part of his physical education in kindergarten! Near the end of the interview, around 3minutes and 50seconds he talks about his family traditions and how he doesn’t quite remember many of them. The main takeaway is how he really celebrates life at all times.
