"How did you, a graduate of Yale University, get into the cattle ranching?" D.S. asks J.O'B.
"The ultimate goal is to be good land stewards," D.S. talks about adjusting to unexpected predicaments in the environment.
J.O'B. shares the satisfaction he experiences with his work and the desire he has to provide high quality protein for the world, not just those who can afford it.
D.S. shares their companies mission statement.
"What tools have allowed you to be successful?" J.O'B. asks, D.S. "A love for the land, a love of being engaged and outside and seeing the natural cycles and how we adapt to them. A love for the land, a love for the cattle," D.S. responds.
"When you're a nerd, you're a nerd all the way," J.O'B. says of being a 75 year old cattleman coder.
D.S. talks about the wildlife that's maintained by managing the land properly. "What's good for the land, is good for the cattle, is good for the wildlife," he reiterates.
"What do you hope you see happen when you're not able to ranch anymore?" J.O'B. asks D.S.
