They discuss the challenges of being a woman in different fields of work, the importance of family and education, and what sacrifices are needed to make the best life for your children. Katelyn’s grandmother also shares her extensive running history, how she got into the sport, and why she is so passionate about it. Throughout the interview, they discuss major historical events that Katelyn’s grandmother has lived through as well as their impact on society before ending with a few of her favorite memories from different stages of life.
