Description

For the 7th grade class trip the students spent the year growing and harvesting the food they would eat on that trip. Katie shared that along the way they found a field with left over corn. “We harvested them [the corn]. We cracked them. We found a place … along the way to grind them. [It was] a covered bridge that had old equipment. It was kind of a miracle…. .. They [the students] felt we were on a real adventure. And sometimes it’s hard to find real adventures… We noticed we were on a real adventure!”
