Maria (M) talks about her path to the Manitou Art Center and how she met Harriet (H).
M describes growing up in Essex, England.
M says she has always wanted to be an artist and that is what drew her to H.
H describes growing up on a farm and says she did not have a formal art education while growing up.
H describes her naivety about art when she entered college.
