Mary Brehm (M) shares that she and Judy Brehm (J) lost their father/husband about six months ago.
J shares a card about her husband Phil that a friend of his wrote.
J says she was a teacher and taught for nearly twenty years before retiring.
M says as she approaches the age of sixty, she is reflecting on her journey as a parent.
J reflects on her parents' parenting styles. She talks about what it was like living in Minneapolis. She says she had a very happy childhood.
J recalls some shenanigans she got into in high school and says she is still friends with some of these women.
J describes how she met Phil. M and J discuss how Phil and J would go fishing together.
J says her first job out of college was teaching at the Victor Berger School.
M says she ended up being a teacher following in her mother's footsteps.
M and J reflect on their experiences in a sorority.

"I thought he was wonderful until the day he died. I still miss him so much," J says about her late husband.
