Subject Log / Time Code

Leonard and the hog - it would sleep in his bed with him until it got too big, up to about 40 pounds (Leonard was about 7). The hog would follow him into town when he went to visit the commissary.
The goat that would eat the chewing tobacco out of people's front shirt pockets.
Shooting and eating an owl - "like eating a rubber band".
Patricia tells the story of throwing away her father's razor strop as a young girl, since she had been whipped with it. The strop was retrieved and the whipping was even worse.
Patricia first seeing Leonard, as he came to her parents' cucumber farm to pick pickles. The cow ate his lunch, so she made him another sandwich, and, thinking he was pretty cute, made one heck of a sandwich.
Leonard's version of the story. Yep, the cow ate his sandwich, as he stopped to look at Patricia and her sister's footprints.
Leonard's determination to make sure that his children knew they were loved, as a result of the difficult upbringing that he had.
