Subject Log / Time Code

The group would like to dedicate this interview to their mother, Isabel Mahoney.
Ray became interested in the armed forces out of curiosity, and decided to enlist before he was drafted.
While in a training program in Massachusetts, some friends introduced him to Isabel Mahoney. and it was love at first sight.
He was eventually deployed and sent to Pearl Harbor (after "Pearl Harbor").
He remembers receiving a card from Isabel that said: "How can I say yes if you don't ask?"
Ray (son) says that it is important for them to preserve these stories so they know who they are and where they come from.
