UVA students Brian Warden (19) from Morgantown, WV and Jamila Snyder (19) from Pittsburg, PA recorded a one small step conversation as part of their course Public Service and Democracy. They discussed that both of their parents are the most influential people in their lives. They talked about how staying in one place and moving around has affected their political outlooks on the world. They also talked through their political backgrounds with each other, and they came to the conclusion that they have very similar beliefs because their parents had very similar beliefs.
