In this interview, recorded on November 21, 2018 in Oxford, Mississippi, 13 year-old Mina Kang interviews her dad's co-worker, Dale Bramlett (67 years-old) about her life growing up in Mississippi. Mrs. Bramlett shares her stories of racial segregation and her experiences with the Civil Rights Movement. She also shares childhood memories of her neighborhood as well as cooking fried apple pies with her grandmother. Later in the interview, Mrs. Bramlett also shares advice to 13 year-olds. The conversation ends with Mina and Mrs. Bramlett talking about what they are thankful for.
