Ms. Sumi: Interview for World History By Audrey Ross

Description

Ms. Sumi and I discussed her past with recollections of the Korean War, dictatorship, immigration, and education. This expirience allowed me to learn more about the personal life of someone who I spend a lot of time with throughout the week. Listening to Ms. Sumi was a great learning experience where I was taught about history in a fun and interesting way, and was able to learn more about her. This is important to do, because someday we may not have the people we are close with to share their personal experiences in major world events, therefore we must document and listen to the people we care about now in order to learn, grow, and remember. This was a truly memorable experience for me and Ms. Sumi and I am thankful for the assignment.
