Description

Can you imagine witnessing the biggest news story unfold in real time? Well Ann Gurrola and many others who were alive in the early 2000’s did. I interviewed my mom, Ann Gurrola on the terrorist attack of the twin towers that happened on September 11th, 2001, in New York City. I thought this would be a great topic to interview my mom about because she is very knowledgeable about this as she did live through it. Even though she wasn’t physically in New York as this was happening, she gives a great point of view of how many people the day of 9/11 must have been feeling. Personally I think the best part of my interview was when at the time mark of 9:34-10:40 of my mom describing how before 911 people in America were very careless and trusting of people. But after 911, people lost that feeling in the fear of another 911 occuring again.
