00:01 My name is Nevaeh Leonard and I am 16 years old. Today is November 26th and I'm speaking with my grandma. Are you ready?
00:12 I'm ready.
00:13 All right. Tell me about one of the most important people in your life.
00:19 My grandchildren are the most important thing in my life.
00:25 Can you add more to that?
00:32 The day my grandchildren were born was the biggest blessing. To watch them grow and just become each individual has been so special to my heart.
00:47 Thank you. Who has been the kindest to you and why?
01:01 My family. We have a very strong family and we have a lot of love and support through all. Through all of us. And I feel that my family is number one in our lives. In my life, especially.
01:20 All right, so share some of your earliest childhood memories.
01:28 Some of my childhood memories. Most were with my parents, taking us on vacations and exploring the world. It was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed that growing up.
01:46 That's always fun.
01:47 Yeah, I loved it.
01:51 I bet. What are the keys to a happy marriage?
02:00 Trust, honesty and respect. I believe that you should always go to bed saying, I love you and never be mad. Always be happy and always tell each other you love them.
02:21 All right. Tell me about your happiest moments with grandpa.
02:36 My happiest moments with my husband. We have a lot of fun going to car shows. We have Model Ts and it's just lots of fun. It's something that he enjoys and something that I enjoy and we do together. It makes a lot, a lot of fun.
03:00 You guys love those model tees?
03:02 We do. We love them. The Carsons are really fun.
03:08 You meet great people.
03:10 Yeah. You meet great people and it's just fun. Lots of fun.
03:14 That's good. All right. Did you like going to school or did you not like going to school?
03:23 I loved going to school.
03:26 Why would you say that you like school? So much.
03:30 Learning and the friends and my teachers, everybody was. It was a lot of fun. I love school.
03:38 That's good. I like school, too. Tell me about your grandparents.
03:48 My grandparents. I really didn't see my grandparents very much. I think that's why when I worked in the health field with the elderly, that kind of fulfilled my. My thing with the elderly. I didn't see my grandparents very often.
04:09 Yeah. Okay. So tell me how you would like people to remember you.
04:21 I hope everyone remembers me as being very kind hearted and someone who loves their family and would do anything for anyone.
04:38 I'll remember you like that.
04:40 I love you.
04:41 Love you. Share an important lesson that you learned in life.
04:49 To be kind and always forgive. Just never hold grudges. And just be kind. Be kind to people.
04:58 Yeah, that's a good one. All right, this is the last one. So, thinking about future generations and knowing that they may hear this recording, is there any wisdom or advice you'd like to share with them?
05:16 I think everyone should keep God in their life. That's number one. Be kind to people and always have respect for one another. And I think that will make you have a happy life.
05:36 All right. Thank you.
05:37 You're welcome.
