Description

Emily and Brian Carpenter talk over the phone, Emily calls from Connecticut to her father, Brian, who still lives in her childhood home in Vermont. The two discuss the difficulties of moving away from a place once called home, which is easier for some than others. For Brian, moving is almost second nature as he moved around nine times during his childhood, and two more times after college before settling down in Vermont. On the flip side, Emily’s only experience moving was to her first apartment as a freshman in college.
