Description

I interviewed my mom who only speaks Spanish and some English. We talked about her childhood and how difficult it was growing up poor. We also talked about her education she wasn’t lucky enough like some of her own family to actually finish school. By the age of 12 she was working a full time job as a domestic worker. She was treated very poorly and paid her very little luckily she had her sisters there for some comfort. She also expressed how hard it was being away from family and not being able to deal with problems as a whole but instead apart. She talked about how honorable it was to be a mother, because not many people get the opportunity to experience mother hood. My mother was a very sassy girl when she was younger and even now she sticks up for herself and others. And no matter what you just have to keep going no matter what you still deserve to be successful.
