Pops’ (aka Grandpa’s) WWII experience flying B-17s

Description

As my grandpa has gotten older (97 now) he has begun sharing more stories about his experience in the war. He was a bombardier in the US Air Corps who trained other service members in the B-17. He had never mentioned some of these stories before, and while my dad is skeptical of the veracity of these stories, they sound real and make for interesting discussion. Recorded with three generations of the Wordes family and fourth in the belly :)
