Priya Patterson (12) interviewed her Aachchi (grandmother) Vineetha Parakrama (77) on Thanksgiving day in 2023. they talked about joyful childhood memories in Sri Lanka, of avoiding homework, and advice for future generations. Priya then turned the interview over to her Loku Ammi (aunt), Naamal De Silva (45). That conversation covered teenage romances, luxury and ease in early married life, having two children, and the transition to life in Washington DC.
