Riley LeBon (19) from Fairfax, Virginia and Evelyn Dickey (19) from Massachusetts participated in this One Small Step conversation as part of their Public Service Pathways 1-credit UNST course at UVA. Evelyn shares about her work with 7th-12th graders doing substance misuse prevention in her hometown. Riley talks about the enjoyment and learning that come from productive disagreements with her dad, that have allowed her to form her own political ideologies. The pair bonds over their pandemic experiences and talk about how to increase interest in voting among their generation.
