Description

"I miss the residents [of Brigham House] terribly... I occasionally have looked on the Boston Globe obituaries to see if they are all okay because assisted living homes have been hit terribly." Watertown Resident Ruth Rappaport talks about how both of her jobs have been upended by the COVID-19 pandemic. As a musician who works with elderly communities and a travel coordinator for a nonprofit, Ruth talks about how she has had to adjust her jobs. She also talks about the connections she has made on her neighborhood street and through technology, her strong marriage, how Coronavirus has effected gig employees, and her experiences going into a clinic during a pandemic after breaking her arm. Taken May 13th, 2020.
