He still hasn't memorized in a part of Yuma and they're typically the homes that are very sturdy looking there two story brick. They're made with brick their wall built the beautiful too beautiful buildings over here across the street not too far from us. They were built by my uncle benny and recently they burn down they would they had a fire down then they will buildings burnt down.

32:26 But the old Ecorse houses beautiful home.

32:31 It was gorgeous. Please remember about it going there and it had a bit of a big basement on the bottom and I'm never going in the main section there, but I didn't go upstairs and have an upstairs nice. It was a nice place to go for people to go and visit and enjoy themselves. Picture was here is outstanding and

32:56 I wish you would have kept the house. It was so be there. I'm sure that's cuz it was well-built.

33:03 Breakthrough

33:05 I used to go there quite often when I was little boy, but

33:10 I got a lot of family that used to go up there and visit her all the time.

33:16 Is there anything else that you want to add to our story our family story anything special that you want our children our grandchildren to know to remember when they think about the old e-courses? What do you want them to remember? What I was a little boy. We live a lot with our firstborn living 1st Avenue and 8th Street afterwards room to Jones Street by the old San Carlos hotel and that's why we live what I was about maybe three years old or four more Street where you can jump street and I have good neighbors are we have neighbors next door and down the street and if you go on for the down the street cuz you make a right turn and there was a big tall buildings. We call the Wilson house.

34:07 And if you want dollar, it was really outstanding and the owners are Tessa virtue and need them. They used to have rentals all around there and people used to live there needs to pay rent for seniors at home to have nice homes with her. But the Wilson house is outstanding and I used to go there and do.

34:26 A lot of times it was my friend Harry need them. Anyway matter fact, I do something at once or twice upstairs to sleep and what it was empty room on the floor, whatever. I can't believe it. But that's why I slept at night and it will down the stairs and across the street from the walls of house with a place where lady named Miss Pauline used to live. She was on black lady and she had she had a couple of nephews that used to stay there with her off and on and I have to go to help a little with her laundry. She she needs someone to help her with her washing and ironing. How much did you make when you have five or six dollars a week with her work is it with her eyes get the water for the tubs and put in the ton with the big container. We put what are there? We heat the water and then we get the hot water. We put it on a washing machine or she wash my hand and then she did everything by hand. She washed room.

35:26 And her clothes outside ship clothes hangers out there and then she died take everything at the house afterwards and iron them and I will deliver the clothes for her two different people in town. I didn't want to go I will take him to call you old Main Street in different places, and I used to

35:45 And then. They would pay her for what she was doing and heard she had two sons that lived in the weather in the refuse Earl Henry Robinson in Bucktown Robinson Earl Henry High School. He played tennis over there back in the late forties and Bucktown Robinson went to high school in the 50s and he wound up moving to San Francisco. And when he was just a teenager just starting high school and then I heard it here for the city of San Francisco back in the 50s. So that should be checked out but I heard that he did. Anyway, I miss Pauline way back. It was a very very nice lady. She was very good to me. She's passed away. Now. Wow interesting.

36:35 So what was your favorite job that you had when you were a little boy and then afterwards I want to work for a grocery store in the midwest grocery. He was on 1st Street and Main Madison and I work there for I don't know how long I can maybe two or three years and I used to do something and I will deliver groceries for me this and that and help do whatever he needs some help with and it was mr. Peng and he his wife was in China eventually. She came to Yuma and the Beast live in the back of the store and left it at that building still there that's on 1st Street and Main Mainland made in Maine Maine Street and 1st Street. It's on the southwest corner.

37:25 And anyway

37:28 That's what he was up for a long time. And we move we move Joan Street to 5th Avenue, and I went to work for this grocery store called. Thanks Market.

37:41 Anyway, you use a Chinese fella that work for what they call a carry-out boy ice carryout grocery for the people and I will sit for a while. And then from there out when we moved my family moved to 5th Avenue and 13th Street. And then I got another job with the Eleanor Martin and is located across its on 4th Avenue between 13th and 14th Street and the building still there and I used to work there for Oral Roberts and he was a very very good very good owner manager and he was going to get to me and I wound up one being the protists matters at all over there. That's a good I did and that's how thankful. I did well over and we live there.

38:33 Keep going over for 4.

38:37 A few years and then night. I want you to high school and from 13th Street 5th Avenue to walk all the way to the high school and that's why I went to high school and I walked all the way back home afterwards and a 1955 when I was 17. I left home. I join the Navy and I was gone for three years three months and three days. It was very very good experience for me. And why did she what do you remember about the Navy Point Mugu Port Hueneme and then Long Beach. I was y were kisses and Supply. I wasn't Supply in man in the Navy and I did.
