00:00 My name is Angel Hernandez. We are in LA. Today's August 23rd, and I'm going to be interviewing Cecilia Leon. Okay, so my first question is, what are your hobbies and how did you get into that hobby?

00:20 I'll name three of my hobbies because I think I have quite a lot. Basketball, you know, playing basketball.

00:26 What's your position for basketball?

00:29 Well, right now it's because of our team. It's like I could be like point guard, but then I should be a power forward or a small forward. But it's because not most of our girls will call. So for my club, I was like, kind of like a power forward. So that's what it is. And then sometimes the center depends, because if you're tall, you could be a center. You know, it depends on the team and, like, what fits better for, like, the whole team. Another hobby of mine is bike riding by the beach. Or, like, bike riding in any, like, calming place. And then another hobby is listening to music while making bracelets. It's very therapeutic.

01:12 What type of music do you listen to?

01:14 I listen to pop. Yeah, pop, Folk and folk. Right now because of this one album by Taylor Swift, Forklord. It's like a really calming album. And I think I'm in my calming era. Like, you know, just, why go crazy? It's like August, Come on, man. You know? Oh, and then one of her songs in that album is called August. So I guess it fits perfectly. So. Yeah.

01:45 So you said you like to brag. Light on the beach. Is that like, where you like to clear your mind?

01:52 Of course. I feel like it's a great place to go alone or with friends. I like riding my bike along, like, the bike paths and then going Malibu side. And then once, like, the bike path ends, I tie my bike, I walk to the sand and then just sit down and like, enjoy the ocean and like the smell of the salt water and the waves clashing with one another while listening to music, obviously, and just clearing my mind and thinking about stuff.

02:21 What's your go to song when you're at the beach?

02:24 That's kind of a hard question. I would say my go to song at the beach would be. This one's kind of hard. It's just one. Can I.

02:36 Or you could like a playlist. An album playlist.

02:40 An album is still so hard.

02:46 What about three songs?

02:47 Okay, three songs. I don't know. Invisible Strings by Taylor Swift. What else? Oh, the Lakes by Taylor Swift. And then what else? What else? I'm not sure. Okay, I'll name someone Else other than Taylor said, oh, Free Woman by Lady Gaga.

03:19 I love Lady Gaga.

03:20 That was a good one because it's upbeat but like really sad lyrics. It's like, it's pumping up.

03:28 When was the last time you felt genuinely happy?

03:31 The last time I felt like really happy with joy was August 3rd. I went to the Aerostor.

03:37 Oh, wow.

03:39 It's Taylor Swift's concert. Like she performs all of her albums that she created throughout her artist career and it was like a very surreal moment. So that was when I felt really happy because, you know, I was dancing and like screaming my heart out to the lyrics.

04:03 What song in the setlist made you most happy to hear it alive?

04:06 Oh, okay. August Champagne problems. I was crying on that one because it's a really sad song. And then my sister was just looking at me. She's like, oh my. And then all too well, Taylor Swift version. And what's it called? For the surprise song, I got Maroon. And that's like one of my favorite songs. So, like, I was happy.

04:29 What are your plans after high school?

04:32 My plans after high school is getting a job, going to college. I'm not sure if I want to community or like attend a four year college right away, but I might do community college two years and then transfer to like another college, maybe Long beach, because I want to major in business. Now that I'm starting to think about it, I want to be a businesswoman.

04:57 Okay.

04:57 Woman in.

05:02 My other question. Oh, who's like the person you go to, like, to make you happy?

05:09 The person I go, I don't know. I don't find. I don't have anyone. I don't know. My friends, I would say, make me happy. I like being alone a lot because I get to clear my mind and then I just really appreciate my alone time and I guess not a person, but like a theme music. Yeah, I feel like that's where I'm able to like calm myself and like just get myself fixed up and not, you know, out of like the ordinary and be like all over the place. Put myself in one whole piece again.

05:44 Okay, last question. What is your favorite memory with your friends?

05:48 My favorite memory with are my friends. Let's see. Oh, I was gonna say my birthday party, but I'll say something else. When we went to the movie theater, I guess that was my favorite. That's my favorite memory because we don't really go out like that now that I start realizing not like in whole, like everyone. So I guess when we went to the movie theaters, that was like a good. Good of our group. But when we have parties, that's when we like. Those are my favorite memories. Cuz we dance and, you know, have fun. We spill the tea. So like, that's my favorite part. Yeah, we gossip.

06:35 Oh, wow.

06:36 My favorite topic.

06:37 Well, thank you for your time. That's all the questions I have.

06:41 Okay. I appreciate it.
