Rich, a longtime resident, of Tacony is now caretaker an abandoned and overgrown citygarden in Keystone Park. Working his whole life as a contractor and 22 years in recovery, Rich talks about his experiences living through addiction to then building and maintaining sober housing and helping others in their own recovery. His tale includes ups and downs that include living in the Florida Keys with a pet alligator named, Rocky to the having most everything he owned stolen from his old home in Tacony, most important of which were his tools to work and a small collection of bicycles (he was a cyclist. Rich talks about how he finds most peace while bringing the local garden back to its former glory with the little tools he has left.
