I was lucky to interview Abraham Assad, and inherit countless life lessons from an amazing example. From his love for Penn State to his faith in Jesus Christ, we discussed his whole life in just a little over 40 minutes. It was a beautiful experience for the both of us. Abe found that the interview lifted weight from him; he was given the opportunity to reflect on several hard memories from his past that had weighed him down for a long time. I myself marveled at his deep, personal responses. He passed on so much wisdom that I will never forget. Abe is truly a remarkable person. I was really given a powerful look at who he is as a person because the interview took him back and forth through every decade of his life.
