UVA Students Abigail Hendrickson (22) from Virginia Beach and Tsomo Narayama (22) from Arlington recorded a One Small Step conversation as part of their ""Lead From Anywhere"" Batten course. They did not get into specific political stances for the most part, and mainly spoke about our relationship to politics. They connected over how we have drawn away form labels and echo chambers, and like to take the time to do independent research and think more independently before coming to a conclusion and having an opinion. They both recognize and appreciate how nuanced politics and political perspectives truly are, as it is not the binary between ""liberal vs. conservative"" that many people reduce it to. "
