Today my mom and I discussed what she was like as a kid, our family, and hopes for the future.
I ask my mom questions of how we interacted as I was growing up. We talk about the first time she saw me to what she might have done differently raising me.
My mom and I talked about many things including her experience being a first generation American, her job, any regrets, and how she would like to be rememebered.
This was my first StoryCorps interview. I sat down with my mom as we were celebrating Thanksgiving in 2015. I had just celebrated my 36 birthday. I love my mom and this is a great memory for us both!
