My mom tells the story of first meeting - then marrying - my dad.
My mom has been my best friend since before I can remember. I thought it’d be nice to pick her to interview to really capture our relationship and have to look back on forever. She is who made me myself.
I interviewed my mom, Maryanne Mamakos, 50 and we discussed her childhood. We also talked about who she was grateful for. Finally, we discussed who has impacted her the most.
This interview today was with my mother, my greatest inspiration. She is a 27 year veteran teacher. She teaches 6th grade ELA & SS in NY.
I did a total of 23 questions where my grandma talks about her childhood life, where she grew up, and how she met my grandpa. Also memories of myself and my father, aunt, and uncle
We talked about the process of joining the Army, the support that he received from his family, and the things he learned about himself.
I interviewed my mom and asked her a couple of questions over this thanksgiving break. She grew up in Medina, Ohio and still lives here. She likes listening to christmas music and a lot of other things.
