My husband reflected on the good and some bad of his life. He reflected on how far he has come.
Christina grew up in Germany, had a happy marriage to Gerald, an English Army soldier and had 3 children, but lost her husband when he was only 41.
We talked about my Pappy’s life,his career,his life when he was in the military,and what he thinks of me.
We talked about his parents, future of the country, memories, what he is thankful for, family traditions, the military, advice to his younger self, and proudest moments. We also talked about his childhood and his profession as a physicist.
I had the great opportunity to interview Ernest Soto-Cruz (age 54). Ernest is my father whom I am very proud of. Today we talked about his experience in the military and how it effect it in the long run.
My dad tells the story of being drafted during Vietnam with a young family, and of his sports career in Germany that resulted.
