My dad and I discuss what it was like growing up with immigrant parents.
I interview my mother, asking her several questions about her history and family life.
We discussed the challenges in their lives and how their relationship brings out each other's best and worst. My grandfather also enlighten us with his stories of his prior years living in Cuba.
My grandfather spoke of his life born in Camagüey and moving to havana and then his life going throughout up until Castro and my grandmother did about the same.
