How did you feel when you came to the USA and what was it like when you were a child?
My Chinese mother recounts growing up in 1970s Suzhou, China and moving to Alabama in the early 90's to start a new life. She discusses her career, reflects on major life choices, and gives advice.
We talked about her experience on coming to the United States and how was her life before. We also discussed her challenges here and in her country.
