During WW2 Arnold Duevel wrote almost 800 letters to Margaret, his sweetheart and later wife of 72 years. Arnold talks with his son, Len, of his experiences in the European Theater.
We talked about how life was coming to america and how life was growing up in japan.

Our interview centered around family and faith. This included stories about my grandfather’s childhood, stories about his children and grandchildren, and stories from his time in service.
We talked about everyday life in the war and why he decided to join the Marine corps.
We talk about her life, and at the end, I have a realization and get emotional. I realized all I have going for me and that I really appreciate my parents.
