This interview is with Christopher Diaz 16 years old and Emiliano Pantoja 17 years old. We are both friends from school. I discussed about Emiliano’s life, Family, and how it was growing up.
My father talked about some of the things that are most important to him. Some of these things are family, work and respect.
Sarah Justus (24) interviews her grandmother Rosa Benedicto (77) about Rosa's immigration from Ciuadad Juarez, Mexico to Chicago, Illinois. Rosa would eventually settle in El Paso, Texas. The pair also discuss Rosa's marriage and love story with her late husband.
Father, Luis (51) discusses his childhood and what growing up in Mexico was like to his daughter, Alondra (16).
There was the mention of the importance of education, life lessons, professional satisfaction and growth, stories of moving between countries (and the courage in doing so), retold WWII anecdotes, globalization, and some dating advice.
In this interview I had the pleasure to speak to a really strong woman who sees so much positivity in life even though having faced a lot of struggles.
