Recorded on May 17, 2020, this interview tells stories of how we met and came to live in Orlando, FL.
This recording is about a teenage girl asking questions to her grandmother during Thanksgiving
We talked about life and my mom's childhood. I was able to ask her things I had never asked her before. It was interesting to learn about her life.
I asked my grandma about her opinions and a few stories about her past and how she came to who she is today.
Today, my mother and I discussed some of the defining moments of her life, and what more she wants to get out of life.
In this interview I asked my mom about her childhood, and about her hopes for the future.
Riya Patel (19) speaks with her mother, Kavita Patel (45), about her life and the challenges she has faced as a woman stuck between maintaining her cultural roots and adapting to changing societal views on gender roles.
